I joined the 90th as a reservist while a cadet at Texas A&M in 1957. I knew nothing of it’s history until I saw the company guidon with a huge number of campaign ribbons. I was proud to serve in the Division for six years, even though I was a reservist, and never saw combat. I was in the 315th F.A.Battalion. Our Division commander was General Earl Rudder, Texas A&M Class of 1932, and Ranger commander at Point du Hoc, Normandy.
