Friday, and time again for the Weekly History Wrap Up.
A new historical marker dedicated in Charlottsville, Virginia details the area’s contribution to the American Revolution.
I just passed through South Michigan on business this week. Great to see that a Civil War re-enactment is scheduled at historic Walker’s Tavern.
Associated Press has issued an apology for the firing of World War II reporter, Edward Kennedy, axed for scooping war’s end in Europe.
The remains of Korean War POW, Master Sgt. Elwood Green, who died while in captivity at Death Valley, have been identified and returned home for burial.
It wasn’t just at Kent State. Students protested the Vietnam War 40 years ago this week at Mankato State College in Ohio.
